The Collector
Some people collect precolumbian statuettes. Others, like Marion Spicer, collect troubles. Because when you never even knew your father, to find yourself the heir to an immense and prestigious collection does not exactly bring peace of mind. Especially when an almost impossible condition is attached to the inheritance: to find three priceless statuettes dispersed five years earlier… In the unforgiving microcosm of the art market, between the Faubourg Saint-Honoré and the Drouot auction house, the quest proves arduous and dangerous. Yet, in the end, the risks and the challenge will reveal to Marion the world of the senses and a taste for adventure.
Behind the scenes of the world of art dealers, their transactions, their schemes and… their passions.
